Cleaning Methods Clean Brass & Copper with a mixture of salt & lemon juice, then polish with a commercial cleaner. Use a metal conditioner like Deoxidine to produce an 'original' finish to brass. Use rubbing gloves to apply then rinse off with water & dry thoroughly. For heavily soiled & tarnished brass clean with steel wool impregnated with brasso.
